The Student Handbook “Akademían” has been released. Akademían is, as the editor puts it, “a handbook for new students, but hopefully not the kind of boring handbook that no one reads unless they absolutely have to”.

For Akademían, “we have tried to gather in one place the things you actually need to know from the very beginning – where to find different services, what the Student Council does, how to get involved, where to go with questions, and what is happening when the first weeks of the semester get underway”. Akademían is here to “soften the blow” and has been distributed around the university buildings. Students can also stop by the Student Council’s office on the 3rd floor of Háskólatorg to grap a copy.
