On October 7th, Katla Ólafsdóttir (President of SHÍ), Kjartan Helgi Guðmundsson (Vice-President of SHÍ), and Cynthia Anne Namugambe (International Officer of SHÍ) met with the Minister and his political advisor, Halla Jónsdóttir. The discussion covered the underfunding of the higher education sector, tuition fees for students from outside the EEA, and the Icelandic Student Loan Fund (Menntasjóður námsmanna).
