Representatives from the following departments and organizations will speak at the orientation meeting to give new students a good vision of what to expect and to present requirements for the study program.

Introduction to Iceland

The Office of International Education organizes a program called “Introduction to Iceland”, which aim is to introduce Icelandic society, culture, history and nature to international students and visiting teachers. The program consists of several events each term, museum and guided excursions.

The first event this fall semester is a guided bus tour around the city of Reykjavik. The trip is a mixture of history and practical matters. The tour is aimed at newly arrived students but is open to all international students and visiting staff from all universities in Iceland.

Cost: 700 ISK. Pay on the bus (in cash – no cards are accepted)
Time: Thursday, September 3rd, from 13:30 to 16:00
Registration deadline: Wednesday, September 2nd, 24:00 o’clock
